A facetrap is a location where a camera can be set up in such a way that the subject, without even realizing it, automatically looks directly into the camera. This yields good images which can be used for surveillance applications with face recognition. Ideal locations for facetraps are counters, elevators, clocks or other objects at which visitors look.
